Torrington Elks, Lodge # 372 in conjunction with the North Carolina State Elks Association are conducting a Disaster Relief Project.
Donations of non-perishable items, including but not limited to are: Personal Hygiene Products for Babies thru Adults, Cleaning Supplies, Heavy Duty Work Gloves, Yard Tools, Flashlights, Batteries (Non—Lithium Only), Camping Stoves, Propane, Blankets, Towels, Washcloths, Medical Supplies, Charcoal and Matches, Winter Coats (new only). No other clothes or stuffed animals accepted at this time.
Donations can be dropped at Merli Automotive 846 South Main Street Torrington, CT Monday thru Friday from 8 am to 4pm. Also at Lippincott Van Lines 171 Rowley Street Winsted CT. Saturdays 8am to 12 noon only.
Checks for monetary donations should be made out to Torrington Elks #372. Note: for NC Relief Fund and mailed directly to Torrington Elks Lodge # 372 PO Box 36 Torrington, CT 06790 or through this website – donate via or thru PayPal (see form below).
Cut-off date for donations is Friday November 1, 2024. Truck will be leaving for North Carolina on Friday November 8, 2024.
